Drainage mats WLC

Kreate installs drainage mats for WLC, West Link Phase E05 Korsvägen. WLC (a joint venture between NCC and Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG) and Kreate Sverige AB have signed an agreement for the installation of approximately 20,000 m² of drainage mats in rock tunnels for Phase E05 Korsvägen of the West Link project.

Work began in March 2024 and will continue through summer 2025.

Kreate’s role is to drill and install bolts for the drainage mats, as well as to install the mats themselves.

The project is divided into five stages, each carried out within different time windows. Execution requires technical expertise and flexibility, as the work must be performed within tight time frames between the rock excavation phase and subsequent ground and structural works.
