Kreate Accelerates Its Growth in Sweden: Per Anders Quist Appointed CEO of Kreate Sweden

Per Anders Quist has been appointed Managing Director of Kreate Sweden, starting on 19 October 2026. He has more than 30 years of experience in infrastructure and broad expertise in managing large infrastructure projects from both the contractor’s and the client’s perspective. The purpose of the appointment is to support the continued growth of our operations in Sweden and strengthen our position in the Nordics.

Per Anders Quist, who has led significant infrastructure projects in both Sweden and Norway, has been appointed CEO of Kreate Sweden. He will take up the position on 19 October 2026. The current CEO, Kenneth Wahlqvist, who has led Kreate Sweden since April 2025, has decided to move on to another employer. Until Quist takes office, the company’s first CEO, Veli Taatila, will serve as acting CEO.
“Our Swedish operations have developed very strongly under Kenneth’s leadership. We want to thank him for his excellent work and wish him luck in the future. With Per Anders, we gain access to very broad experience in infrastructure projects in both the Swedish and Norwegian markets,” says Kreate Group CEO Timo Vikström.

Quist most recently comes from the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), where he was responsible for road and tunnel projects worth billions of kronor as well as the development of procurement models. Previously, he has, among other things, served as business area manager at NRC Sweden and held several leading positions within NCC in Sweden and Norway. He has solid experience in project management, business management, customer relations, and the successful execution of large infrastructure projects.

We continue to seek growth in Sweden in the coming years as well

We had set a goal for the Swedish operations to reach an annual revenue of SEK 650 million before the end of the 2024–2027 strategy period. Since we have already reached the level we set for the business, the goal in the next phase is to continue growing in Sweden while also evaluating opportunities to establish a more long-term presence in Norway.

“We have already reached the level in Sweden that we, a few years ago, estimated we would not reach until 2027. The growth journey continues in the coming years as well. Under Per Anders’ leadership, our ambition is to take the next step in our development. His unusually broad experience in infrastructure construction, from both the contractor’s and the client’s perspective, gives him very good prerequisites for the role. Per Anders is the right person to lead the next phase in the development of our Swedish operations,” says Vikström.

Knowledge of the Norwegian market strengthens Nordic growth

Quist’s experience also strengthens Kreate’s opportunities to establish a more long-term presence in Norway. He speaks Norwegian fluently and worked for more than ten years at NCC in Norway, where he led extensive road and infrastructure projects and served as a board member of NCC Norge AS.
Kreate took its first steps in the Norwegian market within tunnel construction in spring 2026, and the company is actively evaluating opportunities to further strengthen its position in the country. Quist’s experience of the Norwegian business environment, customers, and infrastructure market provides strong support for this work.
