Framework agreement for the renovation of tunnels on the Bohus line

Kreate Sverige AB awarded renovation work under framework agreement. Kreate Sverige AB and the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) have signed an agreement for the continued renovation of tunnels along the Bohus Line. Kreate has won four contracts with a total value of 58 million SEK.

The contracts include further renovation of the Bohus Line after the original contract ended on 2024-06-02. The renovation work includes, among other things, pre-bolting, demolition of concrete structures, shotcrete application, rock bolting, and cast-in-place concrete structures.

The largest project is the Lahagen Tunnel, where the existing columns in the rockfall protection roof will be supported, demolished, and replaced with new ones.

Work will begin immediately and continue through the end of 2024.

“The Swedish Transport Administration has identified the need for continued renovation and has procured the work under a framework agreement, which allows for a quick start and smooth collaboration between the parties. We will now show that we can deliver complex projects on time, with the agreed quality, and with a strong focus on safety,” says Kreate Sverige AB’s CEO, Veli Taatila.
